I posted this on my personal Facebook Page yesterday and people seemed to appreciate the message, so I thought I’d share it here as well:

I just came across this old rejection letter from a radio station in Portland. I was so bummed when I got this, but what if I hadn’t been turned down? I never would have been hired in San Diego, never would have met the kids at the Hospital and started “AJ’s Kids” , never would have found Hula as a producer, met my wife! Had my kids! Etc. Good reminder: don’t get too bummed when u don’t get what u want…sometimes today’s “failures” and frustrations are paths to tomorrow’s successes and happiness.:)
