Today Nintendo released a preview video of its upcoming system, the Nintendo Switch. Previously known as the NX, the Nintendo Switch gets its name from the ability to switch between playing at home, and playing it on the go.
When at home, the system sits in a docking station where it hooks up to your tv. Inside the docking station is a tablet, which pops out for portable gaming. The new controller is also very unique. It splits in half creating 2 smaller controllers for two-player mode. And for single-player mode, both ends connect to the sides of the tablet.
Game titles have yet to be confirmed, but the video does show demos of Zelda, Mario Kart and Super Mario. The Nintendo Switch is slated for a March 2017 release. You can read the entire press release over at Nintendo.com.
