J.R.

J.R. is Energy 103.7’s new evening personality! Originally from O.C., he has worked in the San Diego radio market for five years as a producer and on-air host for multiple stations in the market including KyXy, KHTS and KMYI. J.R. holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Theatre from Point Loma Nazarene University. He started in San Diego radio when he was 19, and is very excited to continue his career with Energy 103.7!

J.R. has also appeared on various TV shows like ABC’s “Greek,” Nickelodeon’s “Victorious,” “CSI: Miami” and as the host of an entertainment news show called “The Juice”. When he’s not on the air, you can find J.R. working out, playing sports and hanging out with his dog Petey.
